This is how the place looked like in april
this year:
April 2007: There's no track or grass
under that snow, just earth and stone. No rostrum, no pit area - no nothing!!!
And in july it was all
there, amazing!!!
The proud mayer of Spydeberg
officially opened the track. This is btw the home place of the WRC rally
drivers
Henning and Petter Solberg. People from around here
all have nitro in their blood! :-)
The mayer
contratulates chairman of the club, Terje Holm, with a fantastic effort.
The local bank director handed Terje a nice check as well.
The main contributors behind these
facilities got a good round of applause from the drivers!
The supersmooth
& fantastic new track in
Very solid rostroom
with plenty of space for wide shouldered drivers! (most
only have wide bellies though :-)
Indoor track during the winter, pit area during the summer - genious! And best of all: no mosquitos
or polar bears inside! :-)
Full consentration before the start of the A final 1:8 TR. The guy in the blue
shirt on the right,
Truls Solberg, is a relative of the Solberg brothers! He also competes
in 1:1 rallycross! And doing well!
Gentlemen! Start your engines! ...
First time norwegian champion Lars Haugen. A very well deserved
result after hard effort over 20 years or so!
Last years winner ended second. And last years runner up ended third this time.
Local, young hotshot Adrian Berntsen was super fast in both qualifying and final with
his Novarossi powered Kyosho,
and had built up a comfortable 3 lap lead. Behind him Ytternes and Haugen had a
very good fight going on, swapping
positions.
